Call for Papers

Abstract format is limited to 1 page. Please refer to the sample abstract format in English and Chinese. For oral presentation in English, please write the abstract in English and upload it to the submission system before August 9, 2024.

(1) Oral Chinese (General)

Participants are required to prepare their own oral presentations in Chinese, which will be presented in the form of a slide show.

(2) Oral English (General)

Participants are required to prepare their own oral presentations in English, which will be presented in the form of slides.

Competition Awards

1. Student Paper Competition (English Short Speech Competition)

Participants are required to give oral presentations in English at this symposium on September 20-21, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the National Ilan University (NIU) Integrated 1F.

The selected papers will be awarded a certificate and a prize for encouragement. The first place prize is NT$3,000, the second place prize is NT$2,000, and the third place prize is NT$1,000. Three students will be selected to receive the best work award (students can apply for the oral, essay, and poster competitions at the same time).

2. Student Poster Competition

The finalists will be awarded 1 winner, 2 honorable mentions and 7 masterpieces, all of which will be provided with certificates by the organizer.

English Short Speech and Poster Competition Entry Information Inbox

Participants who wish to participate in the English Short Speech or Poster Competition are required to send Registration Form with The Recommendation of Advisor to the Organizer's mailbox ([email protected]). Participants will be notified of the competition venues after the preliminary selection by the organizer, and the process of participating in the competition will be completed.


Attendees who wish to participate in the poster competition should send “Attachment” and “Abstract Word+PDF file (please refer to English Abstract Format)” to the organizer's mailbox ([email protected]), with the following subject line: 8/9_Poster_Submission_Name, no paper is required, and the organizer will notify the participants of the competition venues after the preliminary selection. Please print your own A0 size poster (84.1cm wide x 118.9cm high) and bring it to the venue for posting on the day of the competition to complete the process of participating in the competition.
